We are firm believers that a plant represents more than just itself. Our intention is to bring life and awareness into the hands of every person who receives one of our plants and into the places those plants inhabit.

Our Story
We began our friendship almost instantly only to later realize that life had brought us together for reasons greater than mere coincidence. Our connection has led us to believe that we can build a different world from the one we find, in this case, while combining two things we are passionate about: plants and mental health.
In 2016, Cristina's younger brother, Richie, decided to take his own life. Richie was an avid plant lover with a strong green thumb, the life of the party, always ready with a joke and smile. It came as a shock to learn he had been quietly suffering with his mental health. This is a truth that few people are willing to openly discuss, but that does not diminish its reality or the pain of thousands of people, and consequently their families, due to mental health illnesses.
We believe that mental health is a crucial issue and we want that to resonate everywhere. That's why when you purchase a plant from La Tierra Bendita, a percentage will go to community-based non-profit foundations focused on mental health causes. We want to honor Richie's memory, raise our voices and let each plant purchased be a reminder that each of us can make a difference.
Our love of plants continues to grow as we discover our own healing in nature. When you choose La Tierra Bendita, you are not just buying a plant; you are bringing into your space a piece of nature to which we belong. We hope that with any plant you choose, you receive all of its healing energy, power, and expansiveness.
